Xum- Never being satisfied with your orientation due to constant self-doubt or identity issues, causing one to compulsively search and seek out something that fits as perfect as possible--to find "the orientation" or "the one truth"--though one may never be found due to one's neurotype, because words will never be able to describe it, and/or its own properties paradox itself. This frequent anxiety and doubt even causes this orientation to feel imperfect to the individual.
Aplatonic: Not feeling platonic attraction. The term was originally created in the aromantic community, as well as by trauma survivors and neurogivergent folks to describe their experiences. Platonic attraction exists on a spectrum, just like there's a spectrum for sexual and romantic attractions. The abbreviation for aplatonic is "apl" (pronounced "apple").
